Default So the house was overcrowded once Maggie and Sam moved in and if that was the case, .

why didn't Mr. Drummond just start HOUSE shopping? Wasn't he a millionaire who was able to move with no problem? So I see no reason why he was still planning to stay somewhere that was crowded when he had the money to move

The new house could have been the 1st episode of season 7.

Before Maggie and Sam moved in it was just Drummond, Arnold, Willis, Kimberly and Pearle so that's five people right there, adding two more people to the penthouse didn't seem overcrowded it was after all a pretty spacious penthouse.

It became overcrowded because Pearl had to move out

Yes. She appeared as a guest in two Season 7 episodes and three Season 8 episodes.

I haven't seen the later episodes in along time but I think with Kimberly gone Willis moved into her old room and Pearl did stay after Maggie cleared any confusion.

I remember it being the episode where Arnold sneaks out to a party leaving poor Sam alone.
