Default One of my favorite scenes from "VooDoo" episode

Name: Professor Protecting Ginger and Mary Ann.gif
Views: 50
Size: 811.3 KB

Proffy being all macho, telling the girls he will protect them! He's SO adorable!

Note the Professor's left hand moving down Ginger's waist/hip! Yeah, Proffy was definitely a handy man! lol

I have been having trouble getting pictures to post on here, and when the picture finally showed up on my screen before I submitted the post, I thought I had finally figured it out! So frustrating!!

It is a picture that shows them moving, so maybe that's the problem!

Thanks for letting me know!

Thanks for the link. Nice gif. Very smooth. You must have used quite a few stills.
I agree. The Professor has a case of wandering hands.

It's showing up for me, no problem.

Ah, Proffy. There was always a slightly sleazoid side to him.

That's good to hear that you saw the picture with no problem! I thought I was doing something wrong!

Yeah, despite Proffy's case of wandering hands, the crush I always had on him doesn't seem to diminish! lol

(I was waiting to see your comment on this pic Teebs! They're always clever!)

Well, I do love the gif but since I ship Mary Ann with Gilligan, I never like to see the Prof copping a feel. No matter what anyone else thinks, including Dawn Wells, as a character he's just too old for her.

I love how his hand slides down Ginger's waist, though. I bet she loves it, too

While watching GI growing up, I just always assumed it was Proffy/Ginger & Gilligan/Mary Ann. Just thought they made the cutest couples!

I think I just assumed Proffy was waaaaaay too old for Mary Ann. She looks like his daughter!...and it's really kinda creepy that people want to pair them up!

Yes, I would bet too that Ginger is loving that hand moving down her waist!

There are definitely people who ship Mary Ann with the Professor. They live under mossy bridges and they have dark hearts and shrivelled souls. They want to tear the canon ships of Mary Ann/Gilligan and Professor/Ginger apart so they can have what THEY want, not what Sherwood Schwartz, creator of Gilligan's Island, wanted. They know it's an unpopular pairing and they have to deal with the consequences of choosing to ship it. And sure, everyone has the right to choose. But just b/c you choose something, doesn't mean it's right. I could 'choose' to rob a bank. I could 'choose' to kick an old man's walking stick away. Hitler 'chose' to invade half of Europe. It's the principle of the thing.

You can tell I feel very strongly about this, but to go against Mr. Schwartz is called 'biting the hand that feeds'.
