The last couple of times I have been fishing, I have been using night crawler worms as bait. Anyways, the fish just seem to be eating them right off the hook. I know when you get a bite, your supposed to tug on the pole a little bit to hook the fish, but that doesn't work either. Is there anything I am doing wrong? Any advice?

Night crawlers are too big and the more bait on the hook the more likely the fish will take it without getting caught. Try cutting one into at least 3 sections then bait your hook with smaller portions. You could also try one of my favorite baits and that's fireflies. Bait the hook just underneath the head and because they don't weight much you'll need to use a small weight. They will glow underwater and attract fish. They also like gummi bears/worms.
