He was all excited and happy when he received a notification in the mail that he passed the text and was invited to a interview. Nowhere on that letter did it say he was offered the job and he was too excited to realize he had one more hurdle to get through in order to get the job lol
You celebrate after a job offer not when you are invited to a interview Then he plans a party and was not hired yet lol |

That was a really ******** move to plan a party before actually getting the job. You don't spend money that you can't afford to lose.

Florida told him not to get his hopes up. The look on this letter's face might have said J-O-B, but the J-O-B was not for H-I-M.

According to an interview from 2006 I recently watched, Eric Monte based the James Evans character off of his stepfather, who was illiterate and could not read.

Yeah, speaking of, I watched an episode of Mama’s Family a few months back about this middle aged woman from Thelma’s church, (I think her name was Lolly Perdue), who was bossing the CLL around and pulling nonsense decisions out her ass and then towards the ends of the episode, she reveals she can’t read.
I thought she was just a mean, horrible, vindictive, self centered, jeopardizing old bat when really she was just a harmless, helpless, illiterate woman who needed help. I usually don’t like to get hysterical watching sitcoms, but I the end I got all teary eyed when she mentioned that she didn’t get a formal education and had to drop out of school to take care of her younger siblings and that her husband can’t help her because he can’t read either.
