ABC Reveals New Logo for "The View", Teases In-The-Round Set

ABC this morning unveiled its new logo for "The View" and said it’s building a new set for the daytime talker, demonstrating its “commitment to reinventing” the franchise.

As part of the reinvention, the show has “taken up residence in the ABC Broadcast Center,” and a new studio will house a “visually stunning, contemporary state-of-the-art set design” that will feature — you know it’s coming — an “on-camera social media station allowing hosts to interact in real time with viewers.”





All this will mark the first time in the show’s 17-year history it has undergone changes of this significance, ABC said.

The new, in-the-round set will be unveiled September 15 — though, of course, what viewers will notice most is the virtually all-new cast, including last season’s sole survivor Whoopi Goldberg, returning Rosie O’Donnell, and those who successfullly ran the compatibility gauntlet.
