And I am pretty sure it was the front page, from my memory. It was around the mid-80's or so, and the story was that a local young boy came to the rescue of a choking relative by using the Heimlich Maneuver, which he said he saw in a Benson episode. (This would be the "Lifesaver" episode in Season 2).

Just thought I'd share that, now that it just came back to me. Also, apparently Robert Guillaume found out about it and was thrilled.

Very interesting! Just another reason Benson is such a great show
