It is with very deep sadness that I report the passing of fellow SO member JAlanRuss72. I found today via Facebook that he passed away after a heart attack. I have no other details yet.

He has his facebook page linked to his profile page so I saw he and his wife. They looked like a happy couple. I didn't know him that well but I certainly remember him. It's just so sad and he was so young.

This must be the first time I have ever witnessed the death of a member of this site, in my seven years here.

Same here, in my eleven years on the website. Very sad news. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

He's the 2nd that I'm aware of. We lost another member, (videowack) in 2008 who posted mainly on The Honeymooners board.

This is very sad. I recall his posts from several years ago, quite entertaining. 42 is too young.

I know through mutual friends that Jeff really struggled with losing his wife Amy. I take comfort in the knowledge that he and Amy are reunited and experiencing a peace that we on Earth never could.
