Crazy Unanswered questions

Things we may never know (but if you know, tell us! ):

1. Birthday dates. Chrissy's was in January, but when were Jack and Janet's? I don't think we ever saw Terri celebrate a birthday.

2. Did the Ropers have a second bedroom? Much speculation on this, as in "Roper's Niece" his niece runs into a never-seen-before-nor-since room. However, when Mr. Roper warns Mrs. Roper she'll wake up their guest at beginning of episode, he gestures toward their own bedroom/hallway.

3. The apartment building's name and address. It was never referred to by name in the series or spinoffs. And the address...Corner of Ocean and Demorrah?

4. Where the Arcade Florist was located. Chrissy worked in Westwood, and Jack's school was in downtown LA. Janet worked somewhere between....but where???

5. Where Mrs. Roper's brother went to. In the Christmas episode the Ropers were visiting Helen's brother, but in the spinoff series we learn she has only two sisters.

6. How Mr. Furley fared after trio departed. Everyone got a closure story but him.

7. When was the Ropers' anniversary? It's the one date we see celebrated again and again, maybe a total of three times in TC and once in The Ropers.

8. Also, what did the kitchens look like in Larry's and the Roper's apartment? Never see them.

9. Which character(s) chose/changed out the apartment decor? It was always changing.....I know, I know, it was probably the set designer's lack of continuity, but it's a fun thought. And Janet must have LOVED her work....she brought it home with her! With all those plants I'm surprised she had any downtime.

Here's another:

If the trio were able to chip in and buy Roper's used car as seen in "Roper's Car" why couldn't they just do the same and buy a used car from Larry? Who knows, whatever car Larry sold them might have worked out better that Roper's old clunker.

The name of the apartments was never said in any regular episodes but in the first unaired pilot it was called Hacienda Palms so I'll just assume that was it.

1. How come Janet still didn't learn how to cook, especially when she lived with a chef?
I know in the early years, Janet & Chrissy not knowing how to cook made for great laughs, but by the end of the series Janet still couldn't cook.

2. If Jack's brother was so perfect, how come he didn't already have a girlfriend? That part really bugs me.
Also, in an earlier episode an uncle mentioned that Jack was his only nephew.

3. How come Janet & Terri didn't meet Jack's father until the final season? You would have thought Janet would have met him by then.

Larry lived in a studio which means everything was in the same room except for the bathroom

3. Because he lived in San Diego and why would Jack take them to SD to meet him when they were only friends and not a girlfriend

Fun fact:

Remember the book titled Quorum that Jack and Chrissy read in the first few seasons? While it was definitely a made-up title that writers used in both MATH and TC, there is also a real book with the same title authored by Jim French. The real book was published in 1976 and happens to be a collection of homoerotic art photography. In fact, it is the ONLY book I can find with that title published before 1980.
