Talking Negative comments about each of the characters!

I remembered the old Jump The Shark website had these negative gems about all of the characters.

Cliff- "Cliff went from being a stern, normal father in the pilot episode by ripping his son a new one for the whole "Love me anyway, because I'm your son," spiel. "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. No wonder you get D's!" To being a childish, overgrown adult soon after. Even his youngest daughter had to tell him to act like an adult in a later season.

Clair- "Clair went from being a loving mother and wife in Season 1 to being a nagging bitch as early as Season 2 and stayed that way throughtout the entire show.

Sondra- "Sondra was so beautiful, but her character was boring as hell. I imagined her character should have been wearing huge glasses, wildly frizzy hair, and ugly clothes to fit with her dull personality."

Denise- "Denise started off as being independent and mature to being a flake. She even had to rely on a three year old help her babysit! How sad was that!

Theo- "Theo was really annoying when he begun to speak in a deep, gravelly voice. Get yourself some Sucrets, man!"

Vanessa- I hated how they turned sweet, innocent Vanessa into a bad girl. I'd never want to have kids again if I had a child as bad as Vanessa."

Rudy- "Rudy had a mustache darker than her father and brother in the last seasons! That was nasty! Also, I was watching the show from the beginning when she was a 5 year old little girl, and didn't want to hear about her period when she was a 12 year old preteen."

They also asked why Clair and Cliff allowed their grown children(Sandra and Denise) who already had kids of their own to live with them rent free. LOL. Also, they asked why the grown children always left the fate of their own children to Cliff and Clair, and never really relied on their husbands's sides of the family to pitch in....

Well, I seem to remember Sondra och Elvin were supposed to only live with her parents while they were getting their house ready. But surprise, they stayed longer than they should have. But there's no excuse for Denise and Martin living there (except for that the writers just had to let the "cute new little child" Olivia live in Cliff's and Claire's house). And yeah, it was really weird how they put no responsibility on Elvin's or Martin's parents.

Furienna, Elvin and Sondra being there longer than they should have was even addressed in the show. I think that Winnie and Nelson(Sondra and Elvin's children) told Clair and Cliff that Elvin and Sondra felt that Cliff and Clair thought it was time for them to move out....

"Ugh I despise Clair so much"

Especially now, since the actress who played her went public with a ridiculous denial that any of Cosby's accusers could be telling the truth.

Wasn't she the one who actually said "My first thought was.......who are they covering up for, or what are they framing him for.........(some such crap) Made me sick.

Sounds like the morons who said that they thought OJ was innocent but he knew who did it. OJ would have turned in his mother to get out of jail.

I agree in regards to Cliff, Claire and Denise. I hated how they made Cliff a clown and yes Claire was a bit much in the way she treated him. Yes they turned Denise into a flake like that episode where she was making a big deal over her husband having a stripper at his bachelor party.

Also the male bashing got on my nerves as well which made me finally stop watching.
