they were living in a small 1 bedroom apt instead of a house at their age? lol
Like my landlord right now does not live in the building with us he lives in a house lol The place that the Ropers was living in when they had their spinoff should have been where they were living from day 1 and of course never spinned off |

I agree, my landlord doesn't live in my building, either. But at Ocean City, MD (where I vacationed as a kid) the caretaker/landlord of the condo building lived in a first-floor condo with his wife. People lived there year-round but there were also tourists renting condos by the week. And he did "watch over" the place and was the handyman. Maybe it has more to do with where the building is. I mean, if it was beachfront, maybe ppl are more willing to settle for an apartment.

Stanley didn't own the building - he was just the manager wasn't he?

Mr Roper's wife made me laugh often because she always wanted to have sex with Stanley and he never wanted to have sex hahahahahahahahaha. I like the episode when Stanley asked Jack if he could take out his niece on a date and show her around California because it was her first time visiting there. When Stanley asked him, they were sitting on the couch and Jack tried to sit close to him and Stanley moved to the end of the couch to get away from Jack LOL. Stanley's niece was cute and Jack was trying not to kiss her when they were at Stanley's place and she got mad. When Stanley came outta the bedroom and he saw them kissing, Jack jumped up on the chair and tried to act like they were doing something else hahahahahahaha. Stanley threatened to evict Jack because he thought that Jack was faking being gay when he saw him kissing his niece. LOL@Stuck In The 70's dissing Stanley's car hahahahahahahahahaha. I never saw his car but since he was cheap, i wouldn't be surprised if he had a ugly car LOL.

I wonder what Audra Lindley looked like when she was young.

But Mr. Roper wasn't attractive either! I didn't see Mrs. Roper as being that bad looking. They just portrayed her as being a nagging, whiny housewife, and she would practically beg her man to have sex with her! How desperate! That made her seem more unattractive! And really Stanley Roper was no prize!

I don't know how she looked when she was young. But going back to around 1971-1972 Audra Lindley (Mrs. Roper) played on a short lived sitcom called Bridget Loves Bernie. She played Bridget's mother. She was a lot prettier on that show than she was on Threes Company!
