It's A Wonderful Life and Shawshank Redemption would not be good choices as flopped because those two already had four stars.

"Wizard of OZ", "Willy Wonka", "Rocky Horror", nor "A Christmas Story" didn't make the list?
Those movies are gems now, but flopped when they were on the big screen! |

Didn't know that 'The Wizard of Oz' flopped O__O
My favorite movie. I would nominate 'Heaven's Gate'. |

I've always wondered why they didn't do so well at the box office at that time.

The movies that I haven't seen from this list are The Iron Giant and the more recent Cloud Atlas.
I like all of the others w/ the exception being Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I just didn't dig it and apparently the movie has a huge cult following. Another movie that didn't make the "flop list" is Fight Club (1999). |
