Would love a remake of Bewitched. It's been a while since we have had a hit sitcom that deals with fantasy.

They tried with that horrible movie which failed miserably. They wouldn't do the original justice.

You can get the entire series on DVD from The Big River for a little less than $28.00. Why cope with butchered episodes and the lame commercials they crammed into the segments they cut when you can see the pristine version and NO commercials instead.

Mine is "Edge of Night" preferably as a 1 hour action serial mystery combo like the old daytime version.

I wait to find bargains like that Bewitched set on DVD. Even used ones. I may not watch them for some time, but I snatch them up at the best prices I can find. My time is worth more than the time wasted watching or skipping commercials.

I just hope DVD players never go away. I know Walmart has plenty of them, but fewer DVD's with each trip. I have 3 still stashed away in the box new, so I'm good for awhile.

I'd hate to have a closet full of DVD's some not watched and players disappear like VCR's did. I was stuck with a ton of VHS tapes some still in the wrapper. The players disappeared fast. You can't find a decent new one now that isn't part of a "combo" where neither side works that well and is shoddily made.

Thumbs up

They still sell combination DVD Player VHS Recorders and DVD VHS Recorders. If you don't wish to get these do a little "Yard Saleing", you can sometimes get a good VCR for as little as FIVE BUCKS! About 300 of my movies are on VHS, most bought at yard and rummage sales for penn9ies on the dollar.

As long as there's yard sales and eBay, I don't think we have anything to worry about.

I haven't had satellite or cable since I cancelled both in 2006, but I would like to see the following back on TV so that someone could record them for me and transfer to DVD:

IT'S A LIVING
THE DONNA REED SHOW S6-8
THE HOGAN FAMILY (Seasons 4-6 which ABC family did not air in '06)
9 TO 5
JUST THE TEN OF US
SHE'S THE SHERIFF
EMPTY NEST
NURSES
THE FARMER'S DAUGHTER

I would love to see Unsolved mysteries, Mr. Belvedere, Mama's family, One day at a time and Newhart brought back. Also Alice, The Flintstones, Room 222, and Dark Shadows.
