The good people over at Reddit have been running surveys about which teams people hate in each professional sports league. They have then broken down the hatred by state and it has now been turned into this wonderful map to show which state hates which NHL team the most created by Reddit user KMHokies35:


It may not be the most scientific of polls, but it's an interesting look nonetheless. I mean, really, how much could Wyoming possibly hate the Ottawa Senators in the midst of a sea of Red Wings distaste? Also, Alabama, is there something we should know about what the Vancouver Canucks ever did to your fair state? I'm going out on a limb and saying Alex Burrows once besmirched the good name of Bear Bryant or something (Roll Tide).

Also, for our Canadian readers, pretty much all of you hate the Boston Bruins according to the Reddit survey, except for the Albertans who are content to stand in solidarity with Alabama (Roll Tide) in their disdain for the Canucks.

I can understand why Alberta hates the Canucks, but what's up with Alabama??
