"Sirens" Ups Josh Segarra to Series Regular
USA's "Sirens" Promotes New Cop to Series Regular (Exclusive)
8/4/14 by Lesley Goldberg USA Network's "Sirens" has handed out another promotion. Josh Segarra, who recurred for five episodes of the comedy's freshman run, has been upped to series regular, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The actor plays the handsome yet dim bulb cop Billy — Theresa's (Jessica McNamee) new partner and friend who brings out Johnny's (Michael Mosley) jealous side. "Sirens", from Denis Leary and Bob Fisher, follows three Chicago EMTs who, despite their narcissistic and self-destructive personalities, are uniquely qualified to save lives. Segarra becomes the latest Sirens cast member to be promoted to series regular for season two. Bill Nunn, who plays EMT Cash, was also upped for its sophomore run after appearing in nearly all of the half-hour comedy's rookie run as a recurring guest star. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/liv...new-cop-723281 |
