Good ones. Also I believe Whitey often mentions getting carsick. He claims he had to ride up to Bellport on the weekend and got carsick while Beaver got to be a hero and rescue a boat.

Anyone know where they hear peanut butter and Bobbsey Twins?

Peanut butter-- "Wally's Job at the Soda Fountain" [peanut butter was a choice of sandwich, in answer to Eddie's question, "What kinds have you got?"]

Captain Kangaroo-- "Eddie Moves Out"

Robert Horton-- "Beaver's Accordion"

Cornell Wilde-- I don't know

Sal Mineo-- don't know the ep, but Richard (I think) says his cousin was in the army with him

Great. I didn't realize Sal Mineo was mentioned so much. Almost as much as Fabian. Hey in which episode does Beaver describe a Sal Mineo movie but doesn't give the title. What episode and what is the title of the movie.

By the way Wally mentions Cornel Wilde in the one when Beaver reads Ivanhoe and is pretending he's a knight. Wally says who do you think you are Cornel Wilde?

In the ep where Wally buys that junk car that they all work on, when it comes time to dispose of it, Beaver suggests that he should run it off a cliff. He said he saw that in a Sal Mineo movie.

If it's cars off cliffs, then I suppose the movie is Rebel Without a Cause.

Beaver alum Ann Doran plays James Dean's mother in that one.

Sal Mineo was mentioned a lot...it was the peak of his career. Maybe Connelly and Mosher remembered him from the movie they wrote. Know the movie?

Actually the Sal Mineo movie Beaver describes isn't Rebel because he says Sal plays drums at the end. It has to be The Gene Krupa Story. I'm sure there's a car off a cliff in that one.

What movie was written by Connolly and Mosher?

The Private War of Major Benson.

I can't remember seeing it and know nothing about it, but I did just look it up. It's easy to find because Connelly and Mosher didn't write many movies. But there are quite a number of names in the cast I recognize.

I think a guy gets his jacket caught on a door handle and goes off a cliff in Rebel, but I could be wrong. Gene Krupa is synonymous with drums, so if Sal plays the drums---The Gene Krupa Story must be it. I've never seen the movie to know if there is a cliff in it. You know your Sal.

Regarding Major Benson...
Did you see Madge Blake, Jess Kirkpatrick, and Stephen Wootton are all in it?

Which same item is shown in these episodes?

My Brother's Girl
Next Door Neighbors (New Neighbors)
Bachelor At Large
Water, Anyone?

Also it's shown in an opening sequence.
