Exclusive: "Arrow" Casts "NYPD Blue" Alum as Felicity's Mom

Get ready to meet Mama Smoak!

"NYPD Blue" alum Charlotte Ross has been tapped to play the mother of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) on "Arrow", TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Ross is slated to appear in at least one episode in early November.

Details on Felicity's mother — including her name and whether she'll appear in flashback or present day — are being kept heavily guarded.

It was revealed at Comic-Con — to much fanfare after two seasons of speculation — that the Felicity-centric episode would be titled "Oracle."

"Arrow" returns for its third season on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8/7c on The CW.

Mom’s (again) the word on The CW’s "Arrow", now that Charlotte Ross has booked an encore as Donna Smoak. TVLine has learned exclusively that the "NYPD Blue" alumna will reprise her role as Felicity’s flashy mother in this season’s 18th episode.

Ross received a warm reception from viewers with her first appearance on the hit action-drama, which aired in early November and revolved around a dark piece of Felicity’s past coming back to haunt her.

"Arrow" resumes Season 3 on Wednesday, Jan. 21, with Episode 10, which is titled 'Left Behind'.

Fire up your Donna Smoak fist-pump GIFs, because Felicity’s mom has booked another trip to "Arrow‘s" Starling City.

TVLine has exclusively learned that fan favorite Charlotte Ross will reprise her role as Donna in the sixth episode of Season 4 (which kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 7). Thus far the nature of Mom’s latest visit is under wraps, but I will go ahead and shamelessly spitball: Maybe it’s time to give Dad a name?

Of course, the last time we saw Donna she had nudged her daughter to follow her heart in the direction of one Oliver Queen — who, Felicity lamented at the time, was “terminally unavailable.” But things sure have changed since then, haven’t they?

Prior to her first encore as Donna (this past April), Ross spoke with TVLine about the incredibly and abundantly positive fan reaction to Felicity’s Vegas cocktail waitress mama, effusing, “I’ve been in this business for a while and I’ve never seen anything like it…. I’m just so overwhelmed with gratitude.”

"Arrow" Season 4: Charlotte Ross' Return Extended for Multiple Episodes

Felicity’s mom has really got it going on — in that the "Arrow" spitfire’s Season 4 visit has been extended into multiple episodes.

TVLine — which last month broke the news of Charlotte Ross’ return for Episode 6 of the new season (premiering Wednesday, Oct. 7) — now has learned that Donna Smoak will also appear in Episodes 9 and 10.

Sure sounds like mom and daughter will have a lot to discuss/deal with, yes…? A certain CEO’s daddy issues, perhaps? #IfWishesWereHorses
