I think Maggie was the worst thing that ever happaned to the show-Mary Ann Mobley made the character berable.

I'm not all that familiar with Maggie on the show. I doubt that she was the worst thing that ever happened to the show but it seems completely unlikely that she could have been the best thing that ever happened to the show. Maybe to you, Little Dixie Carter, but for the general fan base and the overall entertainment value of the show, I wouldn't think that Maggie would be more important to the show than Kimberly, Willis, and Arnold. The show wasn't about Maggie.

I've only seen a few episode with Maggie in them but urgh! I find her to be a horrible and highly annoying character (Sam too!).

What were the writers thinking when they decided to add Maggie and Sam? In my opinion, they ruined the show.

(No offense to anyone who likes them, this is just my opinion.)

Just before Maggie and Dam where brought in, Dudley seemed o be in nearly every episode. The Producers must have thought that the show was low on steam and needed some kind of boost (although I wish they'd thought of something else!!)

I thought Dixie Carter was great on the show! I thought she was really cute, and I hated to see her go. I think the first episode with the new Maggie was Sam's missing. For anybody who's seen that episode you know how much the second Maggie overacted. I didn't dislike Mary Anne Mobley or whatever her name is. I just thought Dixie was prettier, and a better actor. I also missed her voice alot. She had such a cute voice. And she also had good chemistry with that annoying red head.

Mary Ann Mobley's acting in Sam's Missing was really funny at points. When she was talking to the police and she suddenly burried her head in her hands I thought that was really funny.

I agree about Mary Ann. It almost seemed like Mary Ann was trying to get a feel for the character in Sam's kidnapping. Overall I liked the Maggie character and both Dixie and Mary Ann.
