"Better Call Saul" Unleashes Albuquerque Billboard, Real Phone Number for Fake Lawyer
7/23/14 by Michael O'Connell There may be a minor delay in the arrival of "Better Call Saul", but the "Breaking Bad" spinoff is already being quite generous with its built-in fan base. An Instagram user in Albuquerque, N.M., kindly pointed out Wednesday that the AMC series has erected a billboard for its fake title lawyer, going by his given name of James M. McGill when the events of the series pick up before the "Breaking Bad" timeline. The billboard is being used in an episode of the series, which recently started taping in "Breaking Bad's" old stomping grounds. And given the natural interest in the series, the phone number on the billboard leads to an active line. “Hello, you’ve reached the law office of James M McGill esquire, a lawyer you can trust," says what sounds like star Bob Odenkirk doing an amalgam of several accents. "Kindly leave your information at the tone and Mr. McGill will phone you promptly.” Unfortunately, there's no tone. So your message for Mr. McGill will have to wait. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/liv...querque-720801 |
