I'm trying to remember this story I saw years ago. Mostly because I'm curious if there was ever an update. Unfortunately, all I can remember is that a guy and his wife were involved in a terrible car accident on the interstate, I want to say in the Northeast in the mid-90s. They had a baby in the car as well. In the aftermath of the accident, another motorist stopped and offered assistance by helping the man and his wife out of the car, as well as the baby, just moments before the car exploded. The guy then left the scene without telling anyone his name. The man and his wife were trying to find this good Samaritan who rescued them from the car.
I'm pretty sure the story aired during the 1996 - 1997 season on NBC. Not sure on an exact airdate though. Does anyone remember the couple's name or know if the good Samaritan was ever located? |
