http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...th-age-86.html 'I love you Grampa Jim': Kaley Cuoco leads the tributes pouring in for her late 8 Simple Rules co-star James Garner following his death at age 86 By Cassie Carpenter and Carolyn Hiblen Published: 11:12 EST, 20 July 2014 | Updated: 20:54 EST, 20 July 2014 Kaley Cuoco has led the tributes pouring in for the late James Garner, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 86. The 28-year-old, who starred alongside the veteran actor in popular TV series 8 Simple Rules from 2003 to 2005, shared a sweet message about her onscreen grandfather with her 1.89 million Twitter followers upon hearing the tragic news. 'I say this with a heavy broken heart. Was an honor working beside u receiving ur bear hugs every day. [Love] u Grampa Jim,' she wrote. Along with the message, she shared a photo of her and James with fellow co-stars David Spade and Amy Davidson. The Oscar-nominee joined the series a year after it began airing, filling the void left following the untimely death of John Ritter. John, who played family patriarch Paul Hennessy, died in September 2003 at the age of 54 during surgery to repair an aortic dissection which was initially misdiagnosed as a heart attack. |
