Does anyone else get annoyed at how much of a brat Willis can be in season one??

Yeah, Willis was a bit self-centred in the first season.
In his defence his mum had just died and he was getting used to a new place. He still remains my favourite character. |

Yes, I do. I have to remind myself that it's, as they say, in the script. He throws pout fits and turns on Mr. drummond about once a week. He's headin' back to Harlem with "poor Arnold" in tow evertime something goes against his view of the world.

I guess he was a bit bratty in season one, and didn't seem to be very greatfull to Mr Drummond at first, but like Chris said, he'd just lost his mother. I expect that was the reason why Willis acted like he did sometimes. Think about it, he'd already lost his father, then his mother died, he became an orphan and had to go to live with a person he barely knew, all this happening while he was still quite young. I think it would be hard for anyone to adjust to something like that happening. |
