Default '90s sitcoms that should be in syndication

What sitcoms from the '90s (that currently aren't airing) do you think should be airing in syndication now.

Here's my top 5 list:
1. The Drew Carey Show
2. Major Dad
3. Empty Nest
4. Evening Shade
5. Unhappily Ever After

Even though I own all five seasons on DVD, I wish NewsRadio was on more in syndication. It's such a funny show, I don't know why it's not more popular. I figure it's either because Phil Hartman died during the show and maybe his death has cast a dark shadow over the series to some people. Or it could be because Andy Dick was on the show and it seems like most people hate him.

I was just thinking the other day... I wonder why Suddenly Susan isn't in reruns. I think it was for a while years ago but to my knowledge it isn't now and hasn't been for quite sometime. I'm actually not a fan but it's a show that was popular back in the day and I'm surprised it's nowhere to be found today - not even on DVD.

I would love to see "SS" come to syndication or DVD. I'm surprised by this as well, especially with the Kathy Griffin explosion in the last few years.

I wonder why MAD ABOUT YOU isn't on DVD and/or in syndication. I think the first season is on DVD but that's all.

Speaking of NewsRadio and Suddenly Susan, there are plenty of NBC sitcoms from the Must See TV lineup in the 90s that were fairly well made hits in their day but failed to have much longevity in syndication. I wouldn't mind seeing Caroline in the City or Veronica's Closet pop up more in syndication. It's been so long since I've seen either of them (or any meaningful discussion about them has taken place) that I couldn't even tell you what they were about without googling it. Stark Raving Mad is another one. The show only lasted one season but I recall it being pretty good and was canceled while pulling in a 10.7 average share and being #15 overall, according to Wikipedia. If NBC put out a comedy with that kind of audience now...geez oh man would it be a different story.

Well that particular fact is directly attributed to this book so I'm inclined to believe it's somewhat close to being "true."

But yeah, Wikipedia can be tragically incorrect on occasion lol

Remember when USA aired short-lived shows from the '90s on weekday mornings? They called it USAM. They also showed Wings, which seemed odd since it ran for 172 episodes while the other shows on their lineup was anything from 35 episodes to (I don't know) 60 something. It was watching it on USA in the mornings when I became a hardcore fan of Wings.

I wish USA would bring back that lineup or at least that concept.

I LOVED USAM!!! I remember them airing "Wings", "Something So Right", "Jesse", "Suddenly Susan", "Veronica's Closet", "Carol Burnett & Friends", and "Hearts Afire"...among others.

Mad About You currently airs on FXX 4 back-to-back episodes every weekday from 11AM-1PM with occasional airings elsewhere. I'm hoping Mad About You stays in the 11-1 slot when The Simpsons joins the schedule in August.
