Default Shows that will never be cancelled

Which shows do you think will never ever be cancelled.

The Sunday morning news shows. Especially Meet the Press. Tim Russert was awesome, the super smart guy that loved to drink beer and loved football! Meet the Press on CBS. I think these shows have been around since the 1950's.

Saturday Night Live. This season will be the 39th. Pretty amazing. Again, why would this show ever be cancelled, what would be put in its place? How low would viewership have to go to cancel a show that comes on at 1130 Central/0030?

The Tonight Show on NBC and The Late Show on CBS. Again, it seems that the format is strong (for some reason, personally I find the shows lame), with three networks having their own similar shows. Then the "Late Late" shows that comes afterwards.

NFL. Will never be cancelled. I guess I can research it, but why did ABC lose Monday Night Football?

The Simpsons? Will this ever be cancelled, ever? I loved the first 10 seasons, and I have mostly avoided the last several seasons of the show and it should be over. I think there is a superstition at FOX to keep it on.

What else will never be cancelled?

Yes...and I feel that FOX is trying to push-out Seth MacFarlane shows and yet...keep "The Simpsons"!

The Simpsons and Family Guy both have to end eventually once their voice actors, creators ect retire or...the other option. And Seth MacFarlane has expressed that he's getting kind of sick of Family Guy so I wouldn't be surprised to see it wrap up within the next 5 years or so.

The only shows that I can really see going forever are shows that have the option of rotating casts like 60 Minutes, SNL, Sesame Street, ect.

Every show ends eventually. I never thought Guiding Light and As the World Turns would ever go off the air but they did.
