Michael was a real jackasss in that episode.
Yeah, the company really decided to fire a guy just because he's black. How asinine do you have to be to actually think that?
What I loved about the cousin's comeback was that he said it very calmly. He didn't get all worked up like Michael would have.

He sure was.
And Michael was always looking to start an ANGRY debate. He could never speak his mind without going over the top or being insulting.

Michael was a tactless fool who actually thought what he was saying was wise. I remember when some white girl was going to come over to the Evans' house to see Thelma, and Florida told Michael to make sure there were clean towels in the bathroom because they would be having a guest. And what does idiot Michael say? "Clean towels? For a honkey"? Nice mouth, really nice!

In that situation I would agree with Michael because they didn't know to give that girl special treatment just because she was white LOL I mean she was nothing but a college student so why was they trying to impress her? LOL

So that's why Michael was like......."for a honkey?

I would have described her as a stuck up b@tch, because that's what she was. Anyway, I would not have called her a honkey.

I think Michael was always using any excuse to be racist. J.J. never spewed that kind of garbage talk. It was just Michael.

Michael was in tune with racial issues at the time, but yeah, he was out of line at times, especially in this situation. What was really stupid where race shouldnt have matter was when that time he preferred chocolate ice cream just because it was dark, you'd think he like ice cream regardless of color. As smart as Michael was perceived to be, he did not have a lot of exposure. Just my observation.

Someone should have said to Michael:
The White House is called "The White House" because the actual building is white.
Damn, Michael could be a jackass!

Michael was too one sided in his thinking a lot of times, but at least he was spot on about George Washington!

In Michael's defense, he was an impressionable kid in the earlier seasons, and matured a lot in the later seasons. He was more interested in becoming a future judge and getting girls than being a Military Midget... I think someone said the character change actually made sense, as it's kind of cute when you have a kid in a show being so racially passionate as young Michael was, but creepy when he is a 16 year-old.
