Mark-Paul Gosselaar will play a notorious serial killer on "CSI" this fall.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar will also not play a notorious serial killer on "CSI" this fall.



Confused? Here’s the deal: EW can exclusively reveal that the "Franklin & Bash", "Saved by the Bell" star has booked an arc on CBS’s venerable procedural— and that he’ll be playing twins named Jared Briscoe and Paul Wintrhop.

One of the brothers is an unrepentant murderer about to be executed for his crimes; the other, according to CBS, is “a real estate magnate and a pillar of the community who insists on his brother’s innocence.”



The fifteenth season of "CSI" premieres Sunday, Sept. 28 on CBS.

First Look at Mark-Paul Gosselaar on "CSI"

When news broke that Mark-Paul Gosselaar would be guest-starring on the season 15 premiere of "CSI" not once, but twice, fans immediately had questions.

And now, we have (at least physical) answers.



We’ve got an exclusive first look at Gosselaar’s time on the show, during which he plays twins Jared Briscoe and Paul Winthrop. And as the photos illustrate, one of the twins is more of the murdering type, while the other is described as a “pillar of the community who insists on his brother’s innocence,” according to CBS.

Well, we suppose it would be hard to look at yourself and see someone who’s “guilty.”
