Was Diff'rent Strokes filmed in front of a live studio audience?
Was D.S. filmed in front of a live studio audience? ... or was the laugh track added on after filming of each episode?

They did film live at least in Season 6 because I went to a taping. It was in the same studio with Facts of Life

Yeah many sitcoms filmed in front of an audience but then the sound engineer would "sweeten" the laugh track for broadcast airing in case certain jokes didn't get a reaction.
