I don't know much about Texas and Texans
but after watching the E! True Hollywood Story about Facts of Life, I didn't detect any accent from Lisa Whelchel. Don't "some" Texans have an accent? Note: This probably should have been under the post of E! Hollywood Story, but we needed a new post, at least I think so! |

Lisa actually took dramatic speech lessons when she was first in Hollywood to help tone down her accent. But there is a slight twang in her voice.
