Help remembering a case

Hello.

I am trying to remember a case that I saw on tv. I would appreciate any help with trying to remember where I saw this. I will try to provide as many details as I can remember, though it is a bit hazy.

The case was about a family found dead. The key detail of the case I think was that one boy perhaps in his teens was found dead outside his home in the front yard area. The rest of the family, I can't remember how many children, was found inside the home. I think this was a shooting that happened at night and the family was found in the morning. The mother and a male (can't remember if it was a father, stepfather, boyfriend) were found in a living room area sort of near chairs and the children I think were found in their rooms. Unfortunately, I can't remember any suspects.
