Thumbs up Girl Meets World And Zapped Deliver For Disney

I wonder if we'll see more former TGIF series get a new launch for the next generation.

^ If Melissa Joan Hart wasn't doing "Melissa & Joey", it'd be fun to see a new "Sabrina" with her as a mom or an aunt.

A "Step by Step" remake could be fun if it was done right.

I thought about those two along with Full House with DJ as Mom with the others making appearances.

I'm kind of surprised that they haven't gone for a new Full House considering the show has never been off the air in over 25 years. It seems like easy money to me.

For a Friday night show, those Girl Meets World numbers were outstanding! I was very concerned the premiere night ratings would be very heavily affected by the pilot being available for free on iTunes the last few weeks. It looks like my concern was unfounded and I'm glad for that. The next several episodes will be the real test. If the next several episodes do this well it will almost certainly get renewed, perhaps before the season is done! I'm very happy with how it did on Friday though! I don't have cable I bought the Season Pass for Season 1 on iTunes for my iPad. I sorely wish I could actually watch each episode as it airs but this is the best way I can support the show for now. I was more than happy to! 18 bucks for the SD version of season 1 is a very reasonable price! I thought it'd be more like 40! I hope Paul Lee is banging his head into his desk..he probably coulda had GMW..I'll bet good money it was probably pitched to him to begin with since Disney owns ABC and the Disney Channel. If he did get first crack at it, big mistake on passing. He was literally given a lightning strike smash hit for Friday nights handed to him and he probably passed. He has said recently he doesn't want ABC to skew too young or old but sometimes you have to, Paul. This woulda been that big "everyone" show he has been wanting. It would be extremely compatible with Last Man Standing, which I also like a lot. Cristela paired with LMS? Really!? That show ain't gonna get beyond 1 season. GMW will. I'm seriously questioning the judgement here. They could have two excellent anchors for an all new TGIF block, they'd just need two more compatible shows and it'd seriously revive that block. He blew it

Other TGIF shows making a comeback too is a really interesting idea and quite a few would get the same support from me that I'm giving to Girl Meets World. I'd love a Step By Step, Perfect Strangers. And Urkel update shows. That's the kind of shows I'd like to see right now and with every passing year I'm missing those kind of sitcoms more and more.

A huge congratulations to Michael Jacobs, Girl Meets World, and Disney!

Well, Patrick Duffy said in his recent Reddit AMA that he and Suzanne Simeds have been talking about that and both definitely want to do it! He says it's just a matter of the right pitch bad everyone's schedule being freed up for it! We will see what happens. He seems to really love that show so I'm sure he can make it happen. I wouldn't miss it! Let's hope for the best!

Hope you're sitting down fir this..John Stamos has been trying to pitch a brand new Full House to ABC. Same concept different characters I think he said. I hope he's able to do it, it'd be a good project for him. We will see what happens here too!

I'm banging my head into MY desk, Mr. Lee. For God's same..Michael Jacobs probably pitched you GMW, John Stamos is trying to get you to bite on Full a House and Patrick Duffy will probably be calling soon if he hasn't already! These people are literally handing you the revived full of life again TGIF block you've been wanting..for the love of God take these people up on their offers! For all these people to happily want to revisit their past stuff at the same time is rare and you won't get a second chance. Here, I'll show you what to do:

Pick up GMW and move it over from Disney Channel to anchor the block.
This season out LMS on fir a final season after GMW.
Then at 9 Eastern do new Full House followed by New Step By Step.
Next season add in an Urkel and Perfect Strangers follow up series.
Ship Cristela off to abc family or Disney Channel.

That's two solid seasons of TGIF there Paul I just gave it ya. Don't gotta put the shows on in the exact slots I listed,,just get the shows on! Banging my head into the wall big time over here.
