I say the downfall of this show was Snake, Big Earl, Little Earl and teenage Dee. I enjoyed Dee ONLY in the first season as the bratty sister. After season one, she annoyed the crap out of me.

BTW, I liked the dad. I thought he should have been featured more.

No way in hell would I have my younger sister hanging around me and my friends at the soda shop

Really...Dee was always insulting Roger and cramping his style in front of his friends and the girls. I would have told Dee to f#ck off, but Roger was too nice. Dee didn't deserve a brother as nice as Raj.

I agree with you. Dee should not have been hanging around Raj's friends. She was a troublemaker. Raj was a good dude and a great student. Dee needed her ass kicked. That's why I was glad when Bill snapped and yelled at her in that Christmas episode and made her run upstairs. That was her weakness that Mabel failed to do.

Bill scared the CRAP out of Dee. She deserved that!

If Bill ever got mad at me, was screaming in my face.....I would be SH**TING in my pants!
And Dee was his daughter. But she was so DISRESPECTFUL to him. She definitely deserved it. Bill was just trying to be a good father.

This would have been a show with a different feel though, I liked the Dee character she should not have been in the Soda shop scenes. I never liked Big Earl, his son, and Snake.

Snake was a "Tall Black male version" of Cindy Snow

Little Earl was the worst, Big Earl not much better, and Snake was a bad actor but a likeable character. His acting was abysmal at times but he wasn't an annoying character like Big and Little Earl. I hated those two!

Amusing memory, back in the 1980s I worked in a carpet factory with a young lady named Hazel, early 20s, who looked and acted exactly like Dee from WH!!

I didn't notice this for some months exactly, until another co-worker mentioned it... she looked like Dee, and had that slow slightly high at times drawl Dee had, and the "good natured" insulting tone.

I never realized until all these years later that many people would consider this comparison an insult!

Pesty little sister!!! I was the baby in my family and I could be a pest when my older siblings had friends over! Not as bad as Dee though!
