I prefer Jeopardy. Wheel of Fortune is too easy.

Die hard "Wheel" fan here, but I also like to watch "J!", just not as much.

I haven't missed an episode of "Wheel" in over 6 years.

Jeopardy is for experienced people, Wheel Of Fortune is more for a family type.

Wheel fan for life here...sorry Alex

but you know boys and girls, this maybe be an "off-topic" issue and I apologize for that but why in the concourse website would they "mention" the current version of ''Family Feud" when the article clearly suppose to be focused on "America's Game" vs. "America's Favorite Quiz Show" oh and the part that says (and I quote): ''On cannot ignore the "ratings power" and "intellectual scarcity" of the current incarnation of ''Family Feud" when if you looked at the Neilsen's or sometimes Game Show Follies ratings the show's in "THIRD PLACE" behind J! (2nd) and WOF (1st of course) I call that B*LLS*IT the version is not the best as a "ratings powerhouse" when it's a washed up, coonified, pain in the butt in a bathrobe emptying a chemical into the toilet of our HD screens and not an "intellectual scarcity" when this version's life support is shock value, racists, childish, drug-infested and raunchy humor that's begs to get it's plugged pulled in order to die a slow and quick death. "THIRD PLACE" is not an "achievement" for the show...oh no, "THIRD PLACE" is a cruel joke that's begging for a dunce cap to be put on it's head while the kids mock and laugh at it just to prove that you have ignorance and no intellect whatsoever. "THIRD PLACE" is not an achievement, it's a disgrace that even though we went up a number on the scale we still fall flat on "achieving" our goal. "THIRD PLACE" is when they drive you out in the middle of nowhere and leave it for dead. and "THIRD PLACE" is talking about p*ssing ratings away so to see your future children on what a silly waste of resource this was.

so writers from "the concourse" hears a little tip, if you want to talk straight-fowardly "wheel" vs. "Jeopardy!" then talk about "wheel" vs. "Jeopardy!" but if you want to talk about Satan Harvey's Feud then than about Satan Harvey's Feud in it's own article.

DON'T "F"-ING MIX UP THREE SHOWS IN ONE "F"-ING ARTICLE, okay?

THANK YOU!

Wow!! I never thought you felt this way. I saw the new Family Feud and it is stupid. It is so stupid that it deserves to die! J and WOF are the only 2 I'll stick with.

agreed, at least with Wheel & J! they can still be "family-friendly" in their humor without being offensive and dirty.

I feel the exact same way about "Family Feud" today. I've no doubt that Mark Goodson, Bill Todman, Richard Dawson and Ray Combs are all collectively rolling over in their graves with the current dreck that "the Feud" has become.

Jeopardy! by far makes me feel dumber. I know some stuff, but not a lot of the subjects. I'm old enough to remember when Jeopardy! was based out of New York, and was on NBC in the daytime lineup, hosted by Art Fleming.

Both shows have one of the single biggest elements needed for a show to be successful, the "play along at home" factor. I suppose this is why Feud still manages to be on, since one can play along with it, but it has become far too raunchy. It also bothers me, and perhaps it shouldn't, that every episode pits a white family against a black family.

Price is Right lends itself to a very good play along factor too. Card Sharks did as well, with the poll questions, and the higher/lower calling of the cards.

lets not forget in the "Grave Danger" category: Louie Anderson, Richard Karn and John O'Hurley. but I just wonder why the hell Fremantle continues to turn Mark Goodson (and Bill Todman) into puppets by making half-a**ed remakes (i.e. Beat the Clock '02 & Million Dollar Password) into black lumps of coals as a matter of fact I wonder if Mark Goodson and/or Bill Todman were still alive today retired watch what Fremantle has done to these timeless classics, I wonder how would they react on seeing their shows as parodies of their former selves/cruel jokes in HD based on their creations.

I for one am just glad that Merv Griffin didn't sell Wheel and Jeopardy! to All American/Pearson/Fremantle (not counting on their Aussie counterparts mind you) cause if it happened, I think they would've been destroy as well.

and as for Card Sharks thank god you didn't mention "Clip Chips" from the horrible 2001 phony version.
