TVLine has learned exclusively that the show’s second season will consist of 10 episodes — an upgrade from Season 1’s relatively paltry eight. (HBO declined to comment.) Despite tepid ratings, HBO renewed "Looking" for a second season back in February. At the same time, the show promoted three fan favorites — Lauren Weedman (Dom’s hilariously acid-tongued BFF Doris), Raúl Castillo (Patrick’s BF Richie) and Russell Tovey (Patrick’s boss Kevin) — to series regular.
