AMC Sets "Walking Dead" 4-Season Marathon, Two New Dead-umentaries

AMC has scheduled a “Dead, White and Blue” "Walking Dead" programming event for July 4th weekend, as the nation celebrates its independence from, among other things, zombie invasions (thus far).

On Friday, July 4, starting at 9am, AMC will marathon all four seasons of "The Walking Dead", airing back-to-back-to-back-to-back. That onslaught of staggering walkers will lead into a "Talking Dead" Season 5 Preview Special, premiering Sunday, July 6 at 9 pm.





In addition, AMC will debut a pair of new documentaries:

Inside The Walking Dead (Tuesday, July 8 at 10 pm): All of the key production departments – from production design and special effects to costumes and makeup — detail the creation of the hit series.

Inside The Walking Dead: Walker University (Tuesday, July 15 at 10 pm): Reveals how there is much more to becoming part of the living dead than just make-up.
