Default The March 7 Breakfast Club Episode

This afternoon my sister-in-law pointed out to me the incredible simliarities between the recent E.R. episode and the movie "Breakfast Club."

Lets do roll call!

The jock ....Carter
The brain...Gallant
The criminal...Luka
The princess...Lewis
The basket case...Abby

Don't you...forget about me.....

Cool

That's cool, I hadn't really thought about it that way. Some of the characters are a bit of a stretch though...I've never really thought of Carter as a jock, and I wouldn't say Susan is a princess. Though I guess she is more so than any of the others.

But the premise of the show was totally Breakfast Club. Makes you wonder if the writers deliberately wrote it that way.

Here's a lovely pic I made. (Yes I was very bored tonight, )

Enjoy!

Talking

Outstanding!!!

Okay, you may be skeptical of some of the comparisons, but to clarify...
Carter comes from a wealthy and privilaged background, and the other characters thought he "had it made" as a kid. In "Breakfast Club" the jock resented everyone thinking he "had it made" because he was a top high school athelete.
Lewis is "the princess" because Abby thinks she is "talking down" to her, because she's "just a nurse" and not a hotshot Doctor.
Luka, well, he broods a lot, like Judd Nelson did.

I'm pretty sure someone on the show, be it a writer, producer or actor must have seen the simillrities during production. It's too funny not to.

Yeah I was thinking about it more this morning and that's basically what I came up with. Because, well....it's been a long time since I've seen the Breakfast Club, but if memory serves wasn't Ally Sheedy's character supposed to be kind of poor or something and she thought Molly Ringwald's character looked down on her? Or something like that?...

Well since my first pic was received much better than I anticipated, and since I had nothing better to do and found it amusing, I decided to make a few more pics for everyone's enjoyment!

Carbys will like these.

Let's examine The Breakfast Club.

For those that don't remember, the criminal (Bender) takes a shining to the princess (Claire).

Does this mean there's a Luka/Susan relationship in the future?

Also, the jock (Andrew) falls for the basketcase (Alison). Of course this means Carter and Abby will hook up!!!

heehee, that was fun! I hope you all like 'em!
