Default Hair coloring

Hey gals
Do any of you color/dye your hair. IF so what home coloring brands do you use. I have used for a while Nice and Easy. My mom used that brand. Bought on sale Loreal in March. Anyway opened the box and 4 components. N &E only has three. Followed the directions, with the first step which was touching up the ends with cream and wait 2 minutes. While waiting I mix up the 2nd and 3rd ingredients which was 2 white mixtures. I was coloring my hair a brown red. Thought odd that I have 2 white mixtures. Anyway while flubbing with the first step which took a few minutes, the white mixture turned a plum purple. So I slather it on. To make the long story short. I think I was to put the white mixture on as soon as possible. Maybe it colors as it goes. Anyone use Loreal. Nice and Easy sure lives up to it name.

I use Loreal Excellence Medium Blonde It covers the gray so much better than others I have tried. For years I used Nice'N Easy but it burns my scalp. Only Loreal for me!

I go to the salon to have my hair done, but I used to use Loreal Excellence. It does a great job.

No, I don't color my hair. I'm very sensitive to smells. The smells of the color dye are way toooo strong for me.

I've used both brands in the past and no matter what shade of brown I buy my hair always comes out with a red tint to it, sometimes it's "really red". Anyway I got tired of wasting my money on it so I just left it natural. But I found Nice and Easy to be the most simple one to use.

My hair went from black to salt & pepper and it didn't cost me a cent.

The last time I dyed my hair was about two years ago and it came out too red. I mean RED. We are talking Howdy Dowdy territory. But, I'd try it again in the future. Every barn needs a new coat of paint!

That's the easy way, you just don't know what you're missing. Mixing up those smelly solutions, wearing the plastic gloves, squeezing the mixture all over your hair hoping you get it all even and don't get it in your eyes. Then waiting a certain amount of time for it to process and rinsing it out. Then it turns out a different color than what you expected. Everyone should try this at least once.

Oh, henna is really cool! Can't not to bump this old topic because I used henna rather often too and I totally liked it! It's perfect for getting all natural shades and it causes no harm for the hair at all!
I wish henna could be used for getting such bright colours like on these pics on machohairstyles because I adore them too but the classic dyeing in such case is so harmful for the hair...
Maybe some day the alternative will be invented
