I am inquiring about some cases I think I saw on UM (1991-1995) that have haunted me since. I just want to resolve these in my mind, and I do hope justice has been served.
1) A jealous man hits the car of his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend as a police helicopter hovers above.
2) 2 older women and 2 young girls stop in front of a man's home (maybe to ask for directions). He claims he sells clothing out of his house and invites them in. Once inside, the girls become suspicious. He hits them with a phone book and takes the 2 older women out of the room. There's a scene where the kidnapped girls use the address label on the phone book as a clue.
3) A cop tells an elderly woman not to count her money outside. A gangsta walks by and deliberately shoves the cop. The gangsta runs across the street and gunfire is exchanged.

None of these ring a bell to me...

But just in case, could #1 be Paul Stamper? He didn't hit the car, but he did shoot the new boyfriend. And there wasn't a police helicopter. http://unsolvedmysteries.wikia.com/wiki/Paul_Stamper

Maybe some of the other posters will have an idea and if they're not from UM, possibly they can recall which shows they are from.

none of them sound familiar.

I thought #1 could be Paul Stamper or Jim Burnside, but there was no helicopters involved there. They're probably all from AMW or something.

Yeah the only one that sort of sounds like UM to me was the burnside segment but there were no helicopters.
