is he still acting? every once in awhile I see him in some recent role, doing all kinds of guest appearances - he always good and fun to watch.

I've only seen a little of Benson. Now I will try to watch the whole show. I only and will always see him as Odo from Star Trek: Deep Space 9. Happy Birthday Rene!
