How I Met Nick at Nite

Yesterday afternoon, Nick at Nite announced that it has acquired the shared cable rights with FX & WGN America the hit 2005-2014 sitcom "How I Met Your Mother."

Per the article at http://deadline.com "How I Met Your Mother," which just ended its 9-year run earlier this Spring on the CBS Television Network, will begin airing on Nick at Nite early this Fall. The acquisition was announced 2 months after the show left CBS.

In addition to the complete 208 half-hour library of "How I Met Your Mother," Nick at Nite has also acquired "Everybody Loves Raymond," shared with sister network TV Land, and also re-acquired "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," returning to Nick at Nite in October 2014 after a 5-year hiatus. "Raymond" will begin on Nick at Nite in early 2015.

"How I Met Your Mother" was set in 2030 and told the 9-year journey of Ted Mosby (Bob Saget), who, 25 years earlier, in the form of actor Josh Radnor, was a single, care-free young adult, hanging out, searching for the right woman to come along.

Joining Ted in the 9-year journey were Marshall Erikson (Jason Segal), Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan), Robin Shabatsky (Cobie Smulders) & Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris). Marshall and Lily were a young newlywed couple, Robin a local newswoman, and Barney a womanizing hard-partyer who LOVED women and Sex.
