Thanks!!! Yeah that was Bob Fraser. So sad he passed away. I'd love to see the 3 endings that were filmed! All 3 would be better than a cliffhanger, that, thanks to ABC. It was their fault we got the cliffhanger, ugh!!

Interesting find indeed! I never got to see Benson all the way to the end, but I was aware of the cliffhanger ending...I was hoping AntennaTV would continue airing Benson instead of ripping it off at the 6th season!!! ARGGHH!!
It was almost there!! So close!!

Anyway, I think it's pretty predictable that Guillaume wanted/expected Benson to win. Especially since his character was getting a bit inflated and undermined the other characters at times (that's just my opinion). But I suppose any of the 3 situations would've made some refreshing material for a new season (even more so if Tyler would've won!)

I wonder what that would've made Clayton's position into...still Chief of Staff??

Maybe, in retrospect, a cliffhanger ending wasn't too bad for the show. Most of the actors on the set didn't mind it. Although it doesn't give closure, in a sense it keeps a suspended mystery left to our imaginations to work with-- you know like fanfiction and such. Or maybe in truth it was just lazy writing...who knows?

Meanwhile, we're still waiting on a new, proper DVD release of ALL SEASONS WITH BONUS FEATURES GALORE!!!
Or AntennaTV better plan to bring it BACK ON THE AIR!!
Such a waste of a hidden gem of a show-- when shows like M*A*S*H* are getting burned out by so many reruns...ugh...

Thanks for the post!! And LONG LIVE BENSON!!!
