Default my favorite seaons

I was going to post after the old responce in that question but that was so long i did not know if anyone would read mine.

I liked the first one, the one where everything bad happens to them like Becky getting married (i think that';s the fifth.) and the final one.

I liked the first one because it really gave good exapmles of a working class family living. their were no missing children or reacasts. it was just done plane and simple. the episodes i thought really gave good exapmles were the mall one, the saturday one and whenn Roseanne decided to leave the factory inspite of knowning she needed the money. Jackie had her brains back then. once Jackie had her child she lost her brains and became a comic releif act.

the season where they have all the problems i liked because both roseanne and Dan really struggled when nothing went their way. it was a very dark season but they tried to do the best they could. like when roseanne's dad died and when Dan breat up Jackie's boyfriend.

and i liked the final because it showed what they would do with the money. i know most people hate the final year but i thought it was great. they were able to redo the house and went to a mansion to spend some time. I admit some of the episode were stupid like Roseanne beating up the people on the train but most of them i really liked. even in some of the episodes Jackie got her brains back. like when she told Dan off for cheating on roseanne. he wanted to be a friend to het and said how they knew eachother for 30 years. she calmly replied "yea well i've been roseanne sister all my life." the final episode was stupid ending but i figure it was a dream ending.

The earlier seasons were definatly better, once they inhereted all the money, it went downhill, all they did was shop and spent all their time in spas....I liked the good ole days of the bike shop and Jackie being a cop and a big rig driver

i agree the early seasons like 1,2,3,5 and little of 8. in the season 1-3 they had lecy and it had more humor. that is one of the best sitcom shows of all time

My favorites are seasons 1-5. I really like these seasons because of course the Lecy Goranson years but I also think the episodes are very realistic and show that these things happen almost every day. Season 1 was just about a trashy family struggling through every day problems, season 2-4 started to focus a little more on Becky and Darlene(ex-Becky on the pil, girls don't listen to their curfew, Darlene gets depressed, etc.), then season 5 rolls around and Becky has two episodes to herself and is gone then Darlene is more focused on and then came one of the best episodes of that season when Roseanne's dad died. I like season 6 from the 1st episode up to the one where Mark is skipping classes and going to the Lobo. Then the end of season 6-7 I don't like. Season 8 is alright, I like it because Lecy is back and it goes back to the way things were.

1-4 were the best. Starting with 5, the show got waaay too preachy and turned into a drama. Still funny though, except for 9.

I liked season 3-9.
My favorite is season 5 because there are many episodes about Darlene and you learn alot about her.

Season nine is good apart from Roseambo. It shows that when they have money they act the same. They all went to New York but other times they sat around the house watching tv, eating and making jokes. You could tell they weren't going to change. The final episode you see how Roseanne got you to like each character and compare them to your friends or family. She explained each character so you would understand how it was different from her own family. You get to understand that Roseanne is not all that strong and has a sensitive side that was rarely shown on the show. You get to understand why she made the nineth season.
