Does anybody remember the old Blondie & Dagwood movies from the 1940s? I used to watch them on AMC years back. They still show them, its been awhile since I seen them there.
Unlike the trio of Larry, Moe, and Curly not too much is said about these movies. I know that the man who played Dagwood Bumstead died sometime in the 80s from a heart attack and that Penny Singleton ( Blondie ) was later the voice of Jane Jetson but what ever happened to Larry Sims who played Baby Dumpling ( Alexander in the later films ) or his best friend Alvin and also little Cookie? They still living? If Singleton still is she must be in her 90s now. Also I have a bet with a friend of mine- was Daisy really a female dog or was the dog like Lassie a male playing a female. |

Can't answer your questions, but I do remember the movies. I believe Dagwood was played by Arthur Lake.
