Sheldon needs mental help (and so does Amy to a point)

Is it too dated to have a "Very Special Episode" where Sheldon is confronted and comes to grips with his mental disorder?

He does have a mental disorder. He is childlike, selfish, and narcissistic. He displays autistic disorder in that he has to sit in the same place, uses the bathroom the same times everyday, and that his meals are different but the same meals everyday, for instance, Monday is oatmeal day, and he threw out Penny's French toast only because it was Monday and it is oatmeal day. Real people have these disorders.

Clearly the man has no liking for sex, at least with females, because, how many years has Amy been on the show? I mean, it is fine that he does not, but he should not string along poor Amy, and why does she choose to be strung along by him? He is not even stringing her along. To string someone along is to have sex with them, tell them you love them, but avoid commitment forever. Sheldon doesnt even do that. He does not like sex. There are people who dont like sex.

Now in the season finale, he is mad and upset that he will have to move out when Leonard and Penny get married. I mean, that is natural that this would happen, what is the hissy fit? Besides, these guys are about FORTY years old now with professional careers. I know LA is expensive and all, but it is not so horridly so that these two in reality need to be roommates forever.
