2008 TV Land Nomination... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

So, in 2008, the "Facts" girls were nominated for a TV Land award. Molly Ringwald, Julie Piekarski, Julie Anne Haddock, and Felice Schachter were nominated in the category "Favorite Character(s) Who 'Went Missing'". Although they didn't win (the award went to Chuck Cunningham/Randolph Roberts), it's really cool that they were nominated. I wonder if there is some sort of plaque for the nominees?

Yeah I knew they were nominated and lost, and, as a biased FOL fan, of course it sucks they didn't win. Just imagine what it would have been like to have seen them (most likely minus Molly Ringwald) on stage speaking to "the fans".

Yeah, that would have been really cool to see an acceptance speech. Of course, they were up against Chuck Cunningham, patron saint of disappeared TV characters. They didn't stand a chance!
