"The Walking Dead": First Look at Andrew Lincoln in Season 5

Norman Reedus recently shared what he knew about season 5 of "The Walking Dead" — which was somewhere between “not much” and “I’m not telling.”

But filming has since commenced on season 5 and we have our first official look. That’s the good news. Now here is the bad — it doesn’t show much.





We see Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes peering out of what may be train car A at Terminus, where he and the other survivors were locked up at the end of season 4.

On the plus side, there seems to be some nice natural sunlight here, meaning our group will not be stuck inside a dark train car for the entire season. Also on the plus side, it means Rick has not yet been eaten by Gareth and the other “termites” — who may or may not be cannibals.

So he’s got that going for him. Which is nice.

EW has gotten their hands on a new photo from "The Walking Dead's" 5th season.

In it, we see a bloodied and bruised Daryl (Norman Reedus), who has also been bound and gagged.

AMC has released new "The Walking Dead" art for season five (which premieres in October) just in time for the show’s Comic-Con panel this Friday afternoon in San Diego.

EW has gotten their hands on two new images from "The Walking Dead's" upcoming 5th season.






In the first, we see Melissa McBride’s Carol holding an adorable baby Judith. Sooooo…good news, they’re still alive!

When the season starts, that is...








The Rick Grimes we all know and love is back to kicking ass as he has a "Don't Mess with Me" look in the 2nd photo.

He is still rocking the iconic fur-lined collar look from the comic book he adopted late last season.

Exclusive "Walking Dead" First Look: Rick Is in a Bad Spot

The tagline for "The Walking Dead's" fifth season is "hunt or be hunted," and it looks like Rick Grimes may be on the losing end of that proposition.

In the exclusive image from Season 5 of the AMC zombie drama, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is armed with a rifle, but he clearly doesn't seem to be in a great spot. But just who or what is Rick hiding from?



Although it's safe to assume that a hungry pack of walkers are after Rick as usual, the fifth season promises to explore the origins of the (possibly cannibalistic) people of Terminus, where Rick and several members of his group ended up at the end of the last season.

Could those shadowy figures actually be some hungry termites instead?

"The Walking Dead" First Look: What's Happening Behind Maggie's Back?!

Looks like it’s gonna be business as usual – risky business as usual – for "The Walking Dead’s" Maggie when AMC’s monster smash kicks off its fifth season on Sunday, Oct. 12, at 9/8c.

In this official photo of Lauren Cohan, her embattled alter ego appears ready to kick some walker ass – which, given the zombies’ approach right behind her, we’d certainly hope she’d be!

She also appears stunningly – stunningly! – beautiful. (Maybe our heroes discover a post-apocalyptic spa after getting out of that Terminus TRAIN car?)
