"Parks and Recreation’s" Upcoming Seventh Season to be Its Last

NBC confirmed the critically praised comedy will be coming to an end as part of its 2014-15 scheduling announcement. There is no slot for the veteran comedy yet, with the final cycle of "Parks and Recreation" slated for midseason.

Star Amy Poehler also has comedy pilot "Old Soul" at NBC, which remains in contention.

Yeah, that's what happens when you cancel Community in the wrong time, no offense, IMO!

I'd rather the sixth season be the last season of Parks & Recreation. Don't get me wrong, I love this show. I just feel like this should have been the final season. I'm not excited at all about the 3 year jump next season. I hate when shows do stuff like that.

I'd also rather Community come back for a sixth season, instead of P&R getting a seventh. But we live in a wacky world where I don't get what I want.
