ABC’s "The Middle" Renewed for Season 6

It seems that glaring omission on the list of renewed ABC series has been corrected. I’ve learned that "The Middle" also has been officially renewed for a sixth season.

The unsung hero of ABC’s comedy block, from creators Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline, has been a reliable 8 PM anchor, regularly used as a launch pad for new comedies.
