I'm not sure if this has been posted or not but just came across an article that said Nelson DeCloud, former cult leader, was found dead in his cell last month.

Serves him right. This bastard doesn't even qualify to be scientifically classified as a human. We can only hope that his time in prison served as his entry into a place much more sadistic than the misery he inflicted.

We must offer our shoes. Also have someone forcibly cut our hair, in memory of the silent extra with the terrible wig that they were clearly cutting in said segment as well.

That segment really was one of the most memorable ones UM ever did. Tragic story for sure, but so much comedy gold in the re-enactment.

I definitely believe he's in for a HUGE roasting when he gets to the other side for his blasphemies, abuses and cruelty.
I wonder, though, was the victim's family still associated with the DeCloud group and did any of them ever apologize to her for choosing serving him over her very welfare? Also, did the group disband or is it still in existence [as the People's Church of Jim Jones infamy was a full 30 years after that mass murder]. ? |

Good. People like Decloud just disgust me. I always loved Julie in the segment, wish I knew if she was doing well. Is it wacky to hope that her and the guy that helped her escape became a couple?? LOL
I have a special hatred in my heart reserved for cult leaders like Decloud. Evil men that all want power. No joke, my dad lived next door to Jim Jones when he was a little boy in Indiana. MESSED UP. |

I haven't been able to find anymore information about her or Tim Santi, but I hope they are both doing well today.

Well anyway it's always good to hear a happy ending, especially since they both were such likable people. |
