Since I got back into UM about 5 years ago, I've been able to see a majority of the cases profiled over the course of the show's history. I'm reflecting back to when I used to watch the reruns of UM on Lifetime in 2000/2001 between 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM on the weekdays, 2:00 AM on certain days and weekends, and 7:00 PM on Monday Nights.
My mind has since been jumbled about which cases I saw 15 years ago and what I've seen within the last 5 years. I seem to remember that Lifetime would take 3-4 random cases (not in chronological order of original airing), put them in an edited hour rerun, then cycle in order through these episodes on a regular basis. If a certain one hour rerun would air, I would know which rerun was coming next. The point in all this.... Does anyone remember what specific cases would get paired up with each other? Or better yet, does anyone actually have old description listings of UM reruns from about 15 years ago? Thanks. |

My daily episode post threads may be of some help from 2006-2007:
From Lifetime: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...d.php?t=168362 From Lifetime Real Women: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...d.php?t=190996 My focus was on the classic Robert Stack episodes. In 2002-2003 they came out with a batch of new episodes for Lifetime, mostly with one new segment and 3 additional segments from previous episodes. Lifetime began mixing the newer episodes with the classic edits until 2007 when it left Lifetime. |

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Question for you.
Do you think that the rerun episodes that aired in 2000/2001 were the same as the ones that aired in 2006? It looks like for the most part they kept them in chronological order from the original airing on NBC other than a case here and there so it wouldn't make sense that they would re-edit them 5 years later unless they were adding in a case from a new episode. |

They were the same edits. However, as updates/captures would occur, they would go in and re-edit from time to time on some episodes.
In rare instances, they would remove some cases/segments all together. For example, in 2001-2002, I know they aired the February 2, 1994 episode with the Wadada segment intact. By 2006-2007, they had re-edited that episode, removed Wadada and aired the Sharon Kinee segment in its place. No idea why they would do this. Quote:
