I gotta say,this movie is awesome!!!! (1982)

THEY PICKED THE WRONG GUY TO ME$$ WITH!!!

Im glad I found this movie again!!!!!!

The first time I found this last year It was recorded in SLP MODE and was complete crap!!!!! (Sound was aweful, etc) -- I got rid of it........... (It was released by AVID in 1995 -- one of those crappy economy distributers that started in the 90s)

www.amazon.com/dp/630336568X

Last week I found a regular release of this movie by IVE (Recorded in SP mode) and its not a bad movie!!!!!!! (Carolco Home Video)

The sound is a little bit not right and @ the end of the movie it said "SOUND RE-RECORDED AT.." I forgot where but bottom line is THEY DIDNT DO A 100% GOOD JOB RE-RECORDING IT which is sad......... (AT LEAST ITS 100% analogue and a good movie!)

I love First Blood. Best film in the whole Rambo series. Stallone made it after he completed work on Rocky III, my second-favorite in the Rocky series.

I have one of the first VHS versions of the film from 1984. It is from Thorn-EMI video, in a clamshell case. Oh, and the sound was re-recorded at Goldwyn Sound Facility, a post-production facility here in Los Angeles.

The locations for the film could not have been anymore correct and beautiful. It was in Hope, Canada, 1,300 miles north of Los Angeles, in the Fall of 1981, a year before it came out.

First Blood is one of my all-time favorite films. I also love the novel on which the film was based.

My VHS copy is the one released by HBO Video. I did have II and III on VHS at one point, but I got rid of those some years ago. I kept First Blood since I love the film.

I have all 4 films in the Rambo: Complete Collector's Box Set

^I have that same set James.

First Blood is an excellent film, definitely one of my favorite action movies. David Morrell's book is very different. Many changes were made.

There's a film that came out in 1980 titled Ruckus that is very similar to First Blood (I wouldn't doubt it was inspired by Morrell's book.) The film stars Dirk Benedict who is a Vietnam vet drifter who ends up the focus of a manhunt in a small town.

Excellent!!

Did they ruin the movie with what macrovision crap??

I got an HBO VIDEO release once of TERMINATOR (I think) and it had MACROVISION and it was crap..... (Video was aweful) .. Although I have a 1996 movie "HOUSE ARREST" also by HBO VIDEO which also has MACROVISION but thankfully isnt as bad...

I did find a movie one time BY HBO VIDEO that did NOT have macrovision and a documentary by them that didnt have it either but it seems HBO VIDEO likes to ruin thier stuff for the most part which is sad.......

I would love to find "HOUSE ARREST" without Macrovision so it looks the best it can!!

Rambo part 2 is the best Rambo. I just got rid of my vhs copy recently because i got it on dvd from Amazon.com a few days ago. The first Rambo is good but the 2nd one is better and part 4 is better than the first one. Part 4 was very violent and i think it might be the most violent outta all the Rambo movies.

Ill have to keep a look out for First Blood 2,3 and 4 .. I have seen copies of them somewhere but not in thier pure forms.. (Digitally altered)

Usually with ANY MOVIE I think the best part is the first

I have Rambo II and Rambo III. The former is the Thorn-EMI/HBO release and the latter is from IVE Video. None of them say "Digital" anywhere.

But I think in the case of Rambo 4, you're stuck with digital no matter what. By the mid-1990's, they did away with analog, and pretty much every movie and television show from that point on was recorded and mixed digitally.

Well lets hope not!!!!!!!

Some of them are......I think THE GOOD SON (1993) might be,looks like crap... (Contrast not right)

I dont know about HOME ALONE (1990)..... My 1991 copy looks quite good but I saw another VHS release of HOME ALONE from 1997 that looks like crap! (Colours are too strong, audio not as good (That might have been digitally compromised))

Yup the 80s is when it all started going to crap! (And continues to)

I didn't like Rambo 3 that much. Part 1,2,4 are the best.
