Default Joey Lawrence would have made a better Sam McKinney

I never liked Danny Cooksey in that role. He was annoying and I could never really relate to him. He did that role no justice!

Joey Lawrence who was a major star during this time would have played Sam better because we all loved him on GAB. He was such an adorable little boy and you believed every character he played. There was nothing remotely cute about Cooksey.

How would that be possible if he was already on GAB? Thread FAIL

WOW! Do you pride yourself in being a jerk? This is not the first time you have tried to insult me here or anyone else for that matter. If you don't know how to talk to people then you should probably not be on a message board or any form of social media.

All I said was that Joey would have made a better Sam. I never said he should have played Sam at that exact moment. I am not stupid! I know he was on another show!

And I'm letting you know the thread made no sense because Joey was on another show. So just create another topic that makes sense, that's all

Why do you care so much? You seem like a very unhappy person because you only come here to complain.

You always come off as rude and nasty and those are both very unattractive qualities in a person. No one asked you to comment on my post so please leave me alone.

I am really tired of how you do this to people who are just stating personal opinions. No one here needs to be harassed just because you don't like what they posted.

Have a great day!

I think thread topics are important and should be posted just because someone is bored. So I pointed out that it was not a good topic and why I felt that way

I don't like it when they bring in a cute little kid to replace actors who are quietly written out. Both GAB and DS did that. Not cool.

BTW, what was the deal with the bowl cuts back then? Both Sam and Joey had the same 'do.

I know right! It seems that all little white kids around that age had those hair cuts in the 80s. The style was adorable on some children and plain ugly on others.

The Sam character was more annoying than anything. I mean the Sam character could work but his voice was so damn annoying.

Well, Joey could have been nabbed right before the 83' fall season of GAB started. He fared better on GAB because DS was canceled twice and he had that extra season on GAB as DS wrapped one year before GAB did.

If Joey Lawrence played Sam, they would have had to change Sam's character's name to Joey. Because Joey Lawrence is the Tony Danza of his generation.

I actually thought that this comment had some validity as I took note of this during the 80's as a kid. I kind of thought that this was spot on.
